Women's charity event

Stow Inspire helps vulnerable women living in poverty stricken conditions in Bangladesh by fundraising to turn their shelters into homes. Since 2017 we have helped 8 single parent women who are either divorcees or widows.

This year Maya (who has 2 teenage daughters) and Meena (who has a daughter and grand child dependent on her) need our help. Our mission is to raise enough money to build 2 homes for them & their daughters to live with dignity. A Team of teenagers aged 14 - 18 have organised a women only ticketed event to raise the funds needed to provide homes for the vulnerable women who have reached out to us for help.

Every ticket sold will help contribute towards making an incredible difference in the lives of 5 women who will receive the gift of a home; a roof over their heads. All proceeds of the Fundraiser will go towards building homes in Nov-Dec 2023.

Salaam Monwara. Last night’s event was a huge success and I do hope it’s first of many. I think it’s important to give youngsters the responsibility and the opportunity to take on something like this, especially if it’s for a great cause. I hope you managed to exceed your target. It’s a shame you didn’t have more raffle books, a lot of people were asking to buy tickets but we’d run out.

Please do congratulate the girls on my behalf, they all did a fantastic job and pulled off a great event. Each and every one of them should be proud of themselves x
